Role Description
- Currently DWS sources technology infrastructure, corporate functions systems [Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, AFC, Audit, Corporate Services etc] and other key services from DB. Project Lighthouse aims to strategically transform DWS Finance function to an Asset Management standalone operating platform; an ambitious and ground-breaking project that delivers separated DWS Corporate Functions Finance applications in the cloud with essential new capabilities, further enhancing DWS’ highly competitive and agile Asset Management capability.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high performing team implementing a strategic future state technology landscape for all DWS Corporate Functions globally.
- The Business Functional Associate is responsible for translating requirements from business into system specific functional specifications which serve as the basis for technical solutions. The associate will also be responsible for creating/updating the ESG reporting template in Workiva SaaS solution.

Your key responsibilities
- This role will be primarily responsible for data analysis and configuration of ESG reporting application
- Will get involved with hands-on configuration of Workiva tool based on regulatory template
- System Integration testing of the reports
- Prepare requirement specification document
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings
- Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
- This role will require 70% functional & 30% technical involvement
- Analyze software defects and fix them in timely manner
- Work closely with Stakeholders and other teams like Architecture team, Quality Assurance teams etc.
Your skills and experience
- 4 – 6 years work experience and advanced knowledge of analysis methods, tools and techniques
- Financial statement reporting knowledge
- Accounting Knowledge – Balance Sheet, PnL statement.
- Experience on SQL will be added advantage or person should be willing to learn SQL
- Reg. reporting experience – Financial reporting, Liquidity reporting or transaction reporting
- Familiarity to Jira tool
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks
- Excellent proven communication and documentation/presentation skills
- Ability to identify and escalate problems at an early stage
- Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations
- Fluent in English (written/verbal)
