Job Purpose
The goal of this role is to eliminate Honda Trading (HT) exposure to financial liability and minimize supply quality and process risks through gap identification, quality control improvements, and internal/external audit management.
Key Accountabilities
- Raw Materials Dept quality audits and related PDCA follow up for external supplier and warehouses.
- Raw Material Dept regional process improvement, identification of control gaps, countermeasures, and procedure documentation.
- Raw Material quality claim management for suppliers, customers, and warehouses.
- Raw Materials system enhancement and development coordination.
- Continuing studies in lean process improvement, six sigma, inventory management, industry best practices, etc.
- Provide backup support in systems data entry as needed.
- Assist with departmental trainings and overviews of procedures.
- Other duties as assigned, which may include cross-functional responsibilities, department rotations, and/or temporary assignments and transfers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience:
- 2 years experience in raw materials supply chain management
- Experience with quality process analysis and raw materials industry exposure
Other job-specific skills
- Knowledge of ms office suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of cost accounting
