Nature of Work:
Supervision et animation de groupes de discussions (DGDs) et tutoriels hebdomadaires. Fourniture de séances de mentorat. Participation à la préparation de contenu pour les DGDs et tutoriels. Correction des travaux d'étudiants (devoirs, projets, quizzes). Aide à la tenue du registre des notes. Fourniture hebdomadaire d'heure de bureau et réponse aux courriels des étudiants. Surveillance d'examens. Supervision and coordination of the DGDs and tutorials. Provide mentoring sessions. Participate in the preparation of the DGD and tutorials. Mark students' work (assignments, projects, quizzes). Support in entering grades. Office hours and response emails to students. Proctoring exams.
Minimum Requirements:
La préférence sera accordée aux candidats ayant complété ce cours ou les cours équivalent avec une note d'au moins A. Ils/Elles devront assister au séminaire pour les AE donné par le Centre de Pédagogie, si nécessaire. Les candidats retenus doivent être disponibles pour une entrevue. Si ce cours contient des périodes de supervision et enseignement de DGD et/ou TUT et/ou LAB, les candidats doivent être disponibles pour celles-ci. Avoir complété avec succès deux stages CO-OP en SEG (SEG2901, SEG3901). Avoir complété SEG4910 or SEG3904 avec A comme note ou expérience équivalente reliée au matériel du cours (professionnalisme et responsabilités des ingénieurs du logiciel, technologies web – HTML - CSS, gestion du code – GIT - GITHUB). Idéalement, être actif dans SESA (Software Engineering Student Association), en particulier envers les activités de mentorat. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better. Attend a TA workshop if necessary. Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position. If the responsibilities include DGD and/or TUT and/or LAB supervision or teaching, the applicant must be available for all of these. Successfully completed two CO-OP work terms in SEG (SEG2901, SEG3901). Completed SEG4910 or SEG3904 with a grade of A or equivalent experience related to course material (professionalism and responsibilities of software engineers, web technologies – HTML - CSS, source code management – GIT - GITHUB). Ideally, would be active in the Software Engineering Student Association, especially mentoring activities.
