POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Material Planner directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As the Material Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials to meet production requirements. You will work closely with logistics and the logistic platform team in Spain, as well as directly with suppliers to coordinate material procurement and delivery. Your expertise in material management and coordination will be critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Triggering procurement processes (purchase orders, delivery schedules) based on specified production requirements
  • Monitoring procurement processes and delivery schedules for early identification of backorders and backorder tracking, while identifying shortages or risks at the right time for production and taking actions to mitigate/eliminate the impact
  • Ensuring the objectives of supply security to secure an uninterrupted flow of materials for the production line in combination with inventory minimization of the components to be planned
  • Coordinating material delivery issues, escalation, developments at the right time
  • Maintaining scheduling master data
  • Close cooperation with various specialist departments and related stakeholders, like Logistics team with necessary inputs for timely clearance of materials
  • Active supplier communication to ensure material availability
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Completed studies in business administration or industrial engineering, or Completed vocational training with appropriate further qualification.
  • 1-2 Years Professional experience in the above-mentioned field of activity, including range, supplier, and inventory control (preferred)
  • Experience in the supply chain area (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Spanish language skills are desirable
  • Responsible, structured, and independent work approach
  • High level of reliability, ownership, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to confidently handle changing challenges and quickly adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to travel domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure the ability to safely perform job functions and meet the physical demands of the position
