What you’ll do
- Jointly accountable for executing the global category procurement strategy across Turkey Commercial & Services operations
- Lead price and contract negotiations for local projects and support group procurement activities.
- Governance & Compliance: Orchestrate and support sourcing activities locally or driven by Vodafone Procurement Company by taking into account the local market insights, regulations and internal dynamics.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead high-performing teams. Cascade the targets to BP level. Optimize the team resources through revision, reallocation, rotation of the responsibilities/tasks among the team to ensure continuity, flexibility and agility.
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Align stakeholders with diverse interests and backgrounds to collaborate effectively toward achieving supply chain management (SCM) goals.
- Demand Management: Manages aggregation of demand to leverage Vodafone’s global scale and sourcing capabilities
- Change Management: Successfully implement global initiatives and change programs incorporating local insights from the design phase onwards.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Act as the senior contact point for supplier senior levels in the local market (including representatives of global suppliers).
- Crisis/Risk Management: Design and implement crisis response plans, business continuity strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks.
Who you are
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in multinational companies
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and support strategic decision-making through procurement insights
- Hands-on experience in category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with global procurement policies and local market dynamics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into procurement actions
- Hands-on experience in change management and transformation programs, including localization and digital procurement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and work collaboratively across functions
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
