Job Description

  • This position is for Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB).
  • Academic & Programme Administration
    • Assist in the day-to-day operational execution of the MiM programme, ensuring smooth programme delivery.
    • Maintain and update a repository of course materials, academic policies, and student portal content.
    • Coordinate course registration, scheduling, and student evaluations, ensuring timely execution.
    • Support faculty members on exam administration, documentation, and classroom logistics.
    • Assist in the translation and adaptation of programme-related materials, working with external resources when necessary.
    • Coordinate the translation of key system materials to facilitate smooth student onboarding and engagement.
    • Provide classroom support, including weekday evenings and Saturdays, when required.
  • Student & Alumni Support
    • Serve as a first point of contact for students, addressing queries and providing guidance on academic and administrative matters.
    • Coordinate student orientation, career talks, workshops, and alumni networking events.
    • Maintain and update the student and alumni databases to track engagement and outcomes.
  • Accreditation & Academic Support
    • Provide administrative support for programme accreditation and academic review processes.
    • Assist in curriculum updates and documentation to ensure compliance with academic standards.
  • Event & Logistics Coordination
    • Support the planning and execution of local and overseas learning experiences, ensuring smooth operations.
    • Manage event logistics, venue bookings, travel arrangements, and materials preparation.
  • Budgeting & Finance Support
    • Assist the Programme Manager in managing programme budgeting and financial tracking.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Support additional tasks and projects as needed to ensure the success of the MiM programme.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in programme administration, student services, or operations—preferably within a higher education or training environment—will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to support the needs of a diverse student population and facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently with initiative and sound judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with faculty, students, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and make timely, well-considered decisions under pressure.
  • Digitally competent and comfortable with administrative systems; proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive attitude toward process improvements and service excellence.
