About the Team

The Through Life Support team consists of experienced and dedicated specialist engineers, supporting our products throughout their life cycle. The team will undertake RODUM investigation work, survey, quotation and input to Safety Investigation work relating to Logistics Vehicles and Modules.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Through Life Support Engineer, Logistics Vehicles, the Through Life Support Systems Safety Engineer will work as part of a wider team in providing support for our products currently in-service with the Commonwealth of Australia. The TLS Systems Safety Engineer will provide support to any engineering activities which require specialist product safety knowledge, ensuring that our products are available for use by our customer in a safe and appropriate manner.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated application of formal Systems Engineering to product development;
• Strong understanding of application of System Safety principles, tools and processes;
• Experience in interpreting and analysing complex functional requirements;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on good stakeholder engagement; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
