West Monroe is currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Operations Excellence practice within our Supply Chain Management discipline.

We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of project-based supply chain experience. As a Senior Consultant on our supply chain team, you will serve our clients in several roles focusing on supply chain and technology assessments, cost-to-serve analysis, supply chain and manufacturing operations strategy development, and supporting our Mergers & Acquisitions activities from an operations perspective. You will also support our industry vertical teams, with the primary overlaps being consumer and industrial products, healthcare, life science and private equity. In addition to client service delivery, you will be an integral part of our team that helps shape our practice culture through strategy, recruiting, team building, and practice development.

What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions.
  • Facilitate client workshops focused on documenting business processes and requirement.
  • Develop client-ready communications to facilitate decision making, communicate status, mitigate risk or resolve issues.
  • Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models.
  • Assist in the development of tools, methodologies and techniques used by West Monroe in on client assignment.
  • Assist in the development of project approaches and proposals.
  • Actively participate in the recruiting process for interns & consultants.
  • Coach other consultants and actively participate in the performance review process.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant project-based supply chain experience supporting consumer & industrial products, life sciences or retail industries or a business consulting environment.
  • a business consulting environment.
  • Previous experience managing multiple workstreams as a member or leader on supply chain projects including supply chain planning, supply chain network optimization and redesign, inventory optimization and analytics, and/or supply chain tech selection (WMS, TMS).
  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience with a specific industry domain expertise in one or more of the following: manufacturing & distribution, transportation, or software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder-ready deliverables, and polished client-facing oral communication skills.
  • Strong data visualization and analysis skills; comfortable using tools like Excel to analyze data and present key insights in a compelling way.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare (payer/provider), Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, and/or Private Equity.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
