The scope of this team encompasses innovation, strategy and purpose, through deep functional experience in business transformation, finance, supply chain and operations, providing support for the complex and large-scale program and portfolio management.

Finance Consulting - helps assess and transform our clients' finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. We help organizations implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unites the business around its core objectives.
Business Transformation - a m?ultidisciplinary competency, gathering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience design, business design and transformation execution to problem-solve, design and deliver large scale, multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.
Supply Chain and Operations - we provide a unique combination of industry-specific, strategic, operational and financial insights, digital technology advances and strategic alliance partners to deliver better outcomes and also help clients effect fundamental change in their operations’ performance to support sales growth, become more cost competitive, minimize risk and ensure operational resilience.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Project Delivery & Engagement Leadership Lead components of client engagements independently—including solution design, team oversight, and client interactions. Manage project planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of assignments. Guide junior staff, ensure quality outputs, and contribute to internal staffing processes.
Policy & Program Advisory Support government clients in the drafting and implementation of sports policy frameworks, athlete wellness strategies, grassroots programs, and institutional reforms aligned with state and national goals.
Stakeholder Coordination & Client Management Liaise with ministries, federations, state departments, NGOs, and academic institutions to facilitate system-wide convergence. Translate stakeholder needs into actionable workplans and maintain active communication throughout the engagement cycle.
Research & Evidence Integration Conduct or interpret sport-specific research, baseline assessments, and policy landscape studies to inform strategic choices and intervention design.
Monitoring, Reporting & Quality Control Define deliverables, establish KPIs, and develop dashboards for performance tracking. Monitor timelines and task quality while proactively communicating risks, progress, and solutions to senior leadership and clients.
Business Development Support Develop high-quality concept notes, proposals, and RFP responses for government and donor-funded programs. Contribute to pursuit planning and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and institutional partners.
Team Leadership, Delegation & Coaching Build team capacity by assigning responsibilities based on skill and interest, offering guidance and constructive feedback, and fostering collaborative spirit. Recognize team contributions and promote shared ownership of outcomes.
Technology & Process Integration Apply digital tools for tracking, injury prevention, performance monitoring, and athlete wellness. Incorporate sports tech into strategic planning and operational delivery.
Consultative Problem Solving Identify bottlenecks, gather input, and co-develop responsive solutions—balancing analytical rigour with emotional intelligence in dynamic group settings.
Adaptability & Operational Agility Navigate evolving priorities, client expectations, and institutional environments. Demonstrate flexibility in strategy and execution while maintaining consistency in standards and delivery.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
Master’s degree in Sports Management, Public Policy, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree with strong project delivery experience in the sports ecosystem may also be considered
Experience
3 to 7 years of relevant experience in consulting, policy implementation, or program management with focus on sports, youth development, or government engagements
Prior work with ministries, state departments, federations, donor agencies, or large-scale development programs is highly desirable
Strong understanding of India’s sports governance landscape, including institutional structures like the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sports Authority of India, Khelo India, and state sports bodies
Familiarity with athlete wellness, inclusion, grassroots programming, talent development, and gender-sensitive interventions
Proven experience in policy analysis, stakeholder consultations, and multi-stakeholder program delivery
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentation development, and proposal drafting
Familiarity with project management tools, performance frameworks, and monitoring systems
Demonstrated ability to coach junior team members, manage deliverables independently, and work consultatively within diverse teams
Experience balancing strategic thinking with operational execution in high-pressure, public-facing environments
Multilingual proficiency or working knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage
