Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Charlotte, NC

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M–F 8am–5pm

Description:

CTG is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator Contractor to support our client’s events specialist in the planning, organizing, and execution of various corporate events. These include customer meetings, business conferences, community outreach, and team-building activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support for meetings and events at headquarters
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including reserving meeting space, organizing room setup with facilities, and arranging catering with the café
  • Manage registration processes for external visitors and coordinate housing and transportation as needed
  • Proofread event documentation such as banquet event orders, production schedules, and run-of-show plans
  • Assist with reviewing and processing event-related invoices
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of events

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in event coordination, logistics, and vendor communications
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as within a team

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma (required)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field
  • Background in wedding planning, hospitality, banquets, or special events is acceptable
