CTG is seeking to fill a Salesforce Developer opening for our client in New York.

Location: Remote

Duration: 5 months

W2 only No C2C

Must be able to work East Coast hours

Overview:

This role will focus on enterprise-scale Salesforce development and configuration using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools. Preferred candidates will have experience with OMNI Scripts, Agile Scrum teams, and large enterprise environments—especially in the banking industry. This role requires the ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, and contribute to UAT testing, version control (GitLab), and development tools such as VS Code.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete and oversee complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts
  • Lead and contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce tools
  • Provide top-level analytical consulting and technical direction for new applications or enhancements
  • Coordinate development tasks and monitor junior team members
  • Develop and manage technical components of project plans
  • Conduct UAT testing and debugging activities
  • Produce and review technical/functional specifications and related documentation
  • Evaluate complex interrelationships between systems and applications
  • Ensure efficient and effective operation of supported applications
  • Recommend new technology or process improvements
  • Promote and enforce adherence to development standards and best practices
  • Assist with budget planning and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with company risk, regulatory, and audit standards
  • Participate in additional related duties and projects as needed

Scope of Responsibilities:

This position operates under the supervision of Technology management and plays a key leadership role in large-scale, high-impact projects. The Software Engineer III is expected to work independently while guiding and mentoring junior developers. The role involves interactions with senior management, clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will represent the technical team in strategic initiatives and committees as needed.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and oversight to junior developers
  • Participate in performance reviews and mentorship
  • Lead development tasks for projects of any size or complexity

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate degree and minimum 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience
  • OR in lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of relevant higher education and/or work experience, including 6 years in systems analysis/development
  • Strong experience with:
  • Salesforce Apex
  • Salesforce Declarative features
  • Query writing
  • Proficiency with development tools like VS Code and GitLab
  • Experience with UAT testing and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and on multiple complex projects
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating development with business units

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Prior experience in banking or financial services
  • Familiarity with OMNI Scripts and complex enterprise Salesforce environments
  • Deep understanding of integrated applications and systems architecture
  • Experience mentoring others and driving cross-functional project success
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s application frameworks (if applicable)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65/hr to $85/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
