The Opportunity…

GRID Alternatives is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clean Mobility Intake Specialist to interact with customers over the phone, email, sms and chat.

  • Primary point person for the program's phone line.
  • Will give information in response to inquiries about current programs and client applications.
  • Collaborates with the rest of the Clean Mobility team so that client applications move through the process in a timely manner.
  • Receives and processes client documentation.
  • Collaborate on reports and track program impacts
  • Help with additional staff phone calls as needed.
  • Assist the Clean Mobility team in other administrative work as needed.

What you need to bring to this role…

  • Experience in customer service and/or community engagement
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be able to communicate effectively while speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Strong computer skills (TalkDesk, Salesforce,MS Office,Gmail/Google apps a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to relate and work with diverse populations and GRID Staff (ability to work well with co-workers, interns, trainees, and clients, ability to represent GRID Alternatives positively)
  • Self-starter and highly reliable, accountable, detailed oriented and ability to work independently.
  • Strong teamwork, organizational, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills
  • Passion for GRID’s mission related to renewable energy, community development, green jobs, and/or helping families and communities in need
  • Must provide proof or reliable high speed internet connection

It would be great if you also had…

  • Knowledge about the Clean Mobility space.
  • Fluency in additional languages.

Where you will sit & the places you may go...

This is a remote position based in Tijuana, Mexico. It will require you to meet with the team in person from time to time. May require work in the early mornings, some late evenings. This role is a 8-9 hours per day M-F contractor position for 12 months. High likelihood of annual contract renewal if expectations are met.

This is a 12-month contractor position with an annual salary of USD $17,000 - $22,000 per year, billed monthly. No additional benefits are included.
