Job Description

Litera is a leading provider of software solutions for legal professionals, helping them draft, review, and manage documents efficiently and securely. We are backed by leading private equity investors in the software space and we are growing rapidly. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our finance team and support our Chief Customer Officer and their leadership team with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the professional services team in managing their bookings, revenue, and contribution margin targets, as well as tracking and optimizing resource utilization, project profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Support the renewals team with reporting and analysis on contract renewal timing, price increases, and retention and renewal rates, as well as compensation planning.
  • Partner with the Chief Customer Officer and their leadership team to provide financial insights and recommendations, identify risks and opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present monthly financials, including variance analysis and KPIs, to key leaders within the organization.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting and planning process, as well as the monthly forecasting process.
  • Enhance and automate financial models, reports, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team and other cross-functional teams to support company-wide financial objectives and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. Master’s degree, CFA, and/or CPA are nice to have.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting, preferably in the software or technology industry and in a private equity-backed environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience with EPM, ERP, CRM, and BI tools, such as Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
