Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

  • Work closely with various members of the Program Management team and cross-functionally support departmental and project goals.
  • Create integrated program/project plans with established goals, milestones, and timelines.
  • Contribute to scenario planning (comprising costs, timelines, risks, and project strategy) to inform stage gate, portfolio, budget and long-range planning.
  • Frame goals and deliverables for early project teams, prioritizing activities and facilitating meetings.
  • Work with program teams to support the drug development processes and the approaches critical to effectively advance programs to key milestones.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, editing and submission of project documents, presentations and communications.
  • Drive the performance of the teams supported.
  • Work with the Program Team Leader and lead Program Manager to develop timely meeting agendas, publish meeting minutes and follow-up on action items.
  • Onboard new team members by sharing program management resources (team site, project plan, meeting calendar, etc.).
  • Foster an open, inclusive, and collaborative culture with a focus on shared learnings within the Program Management group.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related.
  • Five (5) of progressive experience in assay development and optimization, high throughput screening platform development and processing, data analysis, or a combination thereof.
  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related and three (3) years of experience in assay development and optimization, high throughput screening platform development and processing, data analysis, or a
  • combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five (5) years of progressive experience as described above.
  • Academic background, internship, or work experience to include:
  • Drug discovery process and research strategies (such as: biochemical and biophysical assay development/optimization, or high throughput screening processes);
  • Research experience with major oncogenic drivers for cancers (e.g., RAS, MYC, B-Catenin, or RTKs);
  • Benchtop lab experience for prevalent signaling pathways, related tumor proliferation, and related therapeutic strategies for targeting;
  • Research workflows to include assay development and high throughput screening;
  • Biochemical or biophysical assay experience to include: TR-FRET, Fluorescence Polarization, PCR, SPR, or Bioluminescence;
  • Resourcing strategies to enable the successful execution of early discovery projects; and
  • Program management (practices, tools, timelines, and methodology) using Smartsheets and MS Project.
  • Successful completion of background and employment history verification required.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement. Candidate may work remotely 1-2 days a week. When not telecommuting must report to office at 700 Saginaw Dr., Redwood City, CA 94063.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $193,170 to $193,170 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
