We are currently seeking a MECM/SCCM Engineer- US Citizen with Secret Clearance to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Duties and Tasks:

In the role of a Senior Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) Engineer, specializing in Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, formally SCCM) you will support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. You will be part of a team of engineers responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution that is capable of managing all Windows endpoints.

As part of this program, you will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Serve as an experienced MECM engineer assisting with the design and implementation of the MECM solution for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) classified network.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the design of the solution is scalable to meet DAF needs/growth
• Establishing procedures based on industry best practices for both routine and zero-day patch management
• Deploy applications and application updates based on defined criteria
• Remediate issues related to failed patches or applications and conflicts related to patching
• Create documentation/SOPs for new procedures and manual steps to complete tasks for soft hand-offs and cross-training of support personnel
• Operate and maintain the overall MECM infrastructure supporting the enterprise
• Track all relevant SLA/SLOs and provide reports as required
• Collaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframes
• Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers

Basic Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent years of related experience.
• 15 years of Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM/SCCM) Engineer experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience.
• 1 year of experience working in a DoD classified environment
• 1 year of experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updates
• 1 year of experience building/deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current Branch
• 1 year of experience deploying PXE OSD capabilities for a geographically distributed network
• 1 year of experience managing a large MECM infrastructure
• 1 year of experience managing Windows Servers and Workstations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adaptiva OneSite/Client Health
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Familiarity with STIG requirements
• Familiarity with ITILv4
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
