We're seeking a Product Owner in Johannesburg in our Retail industry to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact. This is a Fixed-Term Contract opportunity for 6-12 months.

SUMMARY

The Retail Product Owner (FTC) role is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and transformation within a leading retail organization. You will be responsible for defining and delivering product solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.

YOU WILL:

• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable product roadmaps
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are aligned with strategic objectives
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product ideas, and iterate on solutions
• Utilize data driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve the product
• Effectively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the broader team
• Contribute to the development of product strategy and vision

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the retail industry
• Prior experience with retail eCommerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive data informed decisions
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment

Applicants must be authorized to work in South Africa, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position. This is a temporary employee (FTC) opportunity.
