Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to drive discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing activities. This role is pivotal in developing both internal and external applications with a strong focus on user experience. This will be a full time position that is hybrid ( 2 days onsite in Trenton, NJ).

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other designers to balance user needs and business requirements, ensuring user-centered experiences
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify complex processes, reducing cognitive load and minimizing user errors
  • Utilize the existing Design System and UI styles to maintain design consistency across applications
  • Create clickable prototypes to test design assumptions and hypotheses
  • Work with multiple application teams to deliver project-required deliverables on time
  • Perform design quality assurance during development
  • Ensure that designs and code are accessible to all users

What You'll Need

  • Extensive experience in designing enterprise-level applications
  • Experience conducting user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and creating user journey maps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in interaction design
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
  • Bachelor's degree or certification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design
  • Strong portfolio of enterprise applications
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Experience with the PEGA suite of applications
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $55.50 - $65.50 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law
