Growth Operations Reporting & Analytics Manager

What we need:

Cetera Financial Group is seeking a strategic and analytical individual to join the Growth Operations team to ensure profitability and growth across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for building and enhancing reporting functions, delivering actionable insights and daily and periodic reporting. The position requires a self-motivated individual with critical-thinking and technical skills. The individual should possess strong organizational and communication skills with business acumen and experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead cross-functional reporting initiatives, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across tools and teams.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the growth funnel.
  • Review business source data, complete reasonability analysis of data and methodology, verify accuracy of reporting.
  • Track key performance indicators, business dashboards and complex financial analysis to support growth leaders.
  • Delivers succinct and clear summarizations of analysis tailored to the needs of different internal and external partners.
  • Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams, assigned business owners and other functions across the enterprise, as needed.
  • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks in accordance with business needs to ensure timely execution.
  • Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives that bring about change or improve the business, as requested.
  • Provide ongoing and ad hoc reporting, as needed.

What you need to have:

  • At least 5 years in a reporting/analytics role in Financial Services
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel; PowerPoint)
  • Comfort with learning new systems and evolving technology
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong planning/organization skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, can-do mindset that can think well strategically and work well independently
  • BS/BA degree required

What is nice to have:

  • Experience with Tableau and Salesforce
  • Superior Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of urgency
  • Capability to influence without direct authority
  • Skilled in providing analytical, strategy-driven insights
  • Ability to identify root causes and tell a compelling data story
  • Broker Dealer experience and industry knowledge

Compensation Range:

The base annual salary range for this role is $79,000 to $135,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
