Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic Human Resources team that is constantly innovating and striving to positively impact the people of Ares.

This position is a ~5 month temp assignment that sits within the Talent Operations team and will partner closely with the recruiting and hiring teams to deliver an exceptional hiring experience for candidates across open roles at Ares. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will help manage the end-to-end hiring process in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and ensure a smooth and efficient candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding. 

The successful candidate will possess a high level of professionalism, will be confident, energetic, and passionate. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and should have the ability to manage a high volume of interview scheduling and reporting on a real time basis. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an applicant tracking system and an understanding of the recruitment workflow.

Reports to: Recruiting Operations Lead

Primary functions and essential responsibilities

Candidate Management & Tracking:

  • Schedule and coordinate all logistics of an onsite, phone, and virtual interview across multiple time zones and locations including complex scheduling and meeting room booking. 
  • Develop strong partnerships with Ares’ recruiting and hiring teams, candidates and third-party vendors to understand positions and team needs while maintaining clear and timely communication.
  • Coordinate candidate travel and manage the candidate expense reimbursement process.
  • Meet, greet and guide candidates during onsite interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Collect feedback from interviewers and consolidate it for evaluation and decision making.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvement opportunities to streamline and enhance our candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Assist in the creation of training/workflow documentation for recruiting tools and processes.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (Workday) to track applicant progress and provide requested reports to Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders.
  • Assist with creating and distributing offer letters, assigning background checks, and ensuring all necessary documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assist with managing the TA mailbox including timely follow-up to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, sharing best practices with the team and how to use the internal and external resources available.

Recruitment Reporting & Projects

  • Prepare functional reports for Hiring Manager calls.
  • Generation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports as required; assistance with analyzing such reports for trends/insights.
  • Ability to manage large volume of data from various sources and structure them into meaningful reports.
  • Assist the Talent Operations Team with special projects as needed

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required (Any specialization)

Experience Required: 

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as an administrator or coordinator, preferably within Recruitment
  • Prior experience with Workday preferred

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$65,000-$75,000
