Position Summary

The MD&Medical Assistant will provide specific support to the Medical Director, Regulatory Affairs Director, BUL MD and to the marketing & sales organization. He/she will operate administrative tasks for the organization and provide support to managers, medical managers and advisors and field employees, including supporting/managing related projects on an “ad hoc” basis.


Principal Responsibilities


Provide administrative support by handling general administrative tasks such as:

  • Travel bookings, Itinerary planning and co-ordination
  • Expense reports
  • Specific planning and preparation for meetings
  • Editing of PowerPoint presentations and preparation of slides
  • Calendar management
  • General admin and filing; including fleet, logistics, quality of data
  • Management and tracking of invoices and follow-up of contracts with agencies/legal
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mails and special deliveries
  •  “Ad hoc” support to other managers and field employees in Turkey
  • Support/manage “ad hoc” projects as required
  • Management of PRF and PO process of the Medical and Metabolic Business Units
  • Providing support of basic reports which are needed by S&M and other departments
  • Regular registration, archiving and follow-up of the department for internal and external audits
  • Management of meetings: invitation, planning, taking notes and sharing the meeting notes
  • In case of need to work with third party companies, arrangement of requirements such as defining the subjects and collecting offers of companies etc.
  • Congress/ Events logistics management
  • Responsible for reporting all pharmacovigilance events, product quality complaints and medical information requests within 24 hours as of awareness according to the local applicable procedures.



  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar function within an international, multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in English both written and oral mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills and natural empathy
  • Results driven, proactive, entrepreneurial, interactive
  • Reliable, accountable, resilient, high sense of ethics

  • Assistant degree, Commercial Training or equivalent
