Position Summary
The Manufacturing Operations Group Leader is a key leader in the Production and Engineering Group (P&E Group) and is accountable for the overall performance of multiple manufacturing teams. Coordinate with other cross-functional leaders to ensure all production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are delivered. Conduct gap analysis of all deliverables and work with relevant managers / teams to identify, develop, manage, and execute continuous improvement projects.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Develop and monitor all production KPIs and metrics including (but not limited to), tact time, on time delivery, schedule attainment, quality and team development.
2. Review LOB (Line of Balance) analysis to distribute workflow efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Plan and manage all continuous Improvement projects for the P&E Group.
3. Provide quality oversight of the production operations with the PQC (Production Quality Control) team. This team monitors and audits the production operation to ensure work standards, (e.g., training, quality checks, calibration, etc.) are being effectively executed and maintained.
4. Facilitate, train, & lead the use of the Pro-3M (My Area / My Machine / My Job) process.
5. Ensure all production equipment, processes, and procedures comply with Industry and Governmental Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
6. Work with factory cross-functional teams to understand the Value Stream and how projects impact the entire process. Ensure material flow, workstation set up, and model mix are considered when designing processes

Skills and Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required
2. Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in management of manufacturing operations including quality control, electronic component purchasing, scheduling, and enclosure assemblies
(Experience with implementing Lean process improvement in a manufacturing operation is a plus)
3. Knowledge: Understanding of Quality Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
4. Skills: Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills, ability to work in large cross-functional teams at multiple levels in the organization, project and people management skills, and effective communication skills
5. Domestic role. Direct interaction with Region or HQ through local dispatchers.
