Bring blueprints to life – Read and interpret detailed engineering documents to lay out and assemble structural components with precision. Take on complex rework challenges – Realign, replace, and reform key structural elements like ribs, bulkheads, stringers, and fittings to meet exacting standards.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Four years of experience as an Aircraft Structural Assembly Worker.
This classification is multi-skilled and these employees may be assigned to do only one element of these skills such as structures installation/assembly only rather than electrical, hydraulic/plumbing, and/or controls installation/assembly. Therefore, to meet the above requirement an employee review must indicate satisfactory performance in structures assembly as well as hydraulic/plumbing, and/or controls.
An employee may be required to work under pressurized conditions or in confined areas which require clearance of any applicable medical limitations on weight lifting, body movement or pressurization effects. Pressurizer certification will also be required.
You will be required to attend skills training, and take and pass a performance demonstration test following completion. Failure to pass the testing may result in employment termination.
Desired Skills:
4 years experience aircraft structures experience to include drilling to close tolerances, riveting, countersinking, deburring and repairing holes, various types of fastener installation. Prior experience reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, or diagrams.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
