Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, and 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Hightower's capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their financial vision. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

Your Future Team

The Executive Director, Head of IT Integrations and Operations you will provide strategic leadership, and new ideas to lead the successful management of Hightower's IT Operations Group and provide oversight of the Integration of new Advisor Business into the Hightower Technology Platform. You will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

What You'll Do

• Oversee IT Operations functions, including Change Management, Enterprise Platform Monitoring, Incident Management and IT Governance
• Direct onboarding and integration of newly acquired or partnered advisor businesses into Hightower's technology environment ensuring seamless transitions.
• Maintain a multi-year IT operations roadmap aligned with corporate goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure technology plans support business strategy and growth.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, cross-training, and progress within the group.
• Define and track operational goals, create executive dashboards, and ensure transparency of IT Operations performance.
• Establish vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and enforce IT governance frameworks.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Certifications like ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or COBIT are strong differentiators. MBA a plus.
• Experience in wealth management, financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Can inspire creativity, implementing process improvements, and achieving goals
