The mechanical assembler will be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch. This role involves customizing each unit by cutting and brazing pipes to meet individual customer specifications. The assembler will work off blueprints as needed and contribute to assembling the houses where these racks are housed. The position requires a lot of physical movement, including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.

The work takes place in a large manufacturing building, where units are built in teams of 3-4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit, although the nature of the work may result in getting dirty. Working hours are from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, or 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday. While there is no air conditioning, fans are used to maintain air flow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required daily.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, Minnesota.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
