Position Summary

As a Lead Director of PCW Workforce and Labor Solutions, you will be responsible for driving the strategic project management of Workforce and Labor solutions in partnership with key stakeholder for the Pharmacy Consumer Wellness (PCW) business. This entails creating a framework that allows for a macro and micro-level review of HR and operational practices within our retail stores and distribution centers. You will lead the strategic development of solutions and initiatives focused on driving an optimal workplace and colleague experience.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Partnering closely with the PCW HR leadership team, the Labor Relations team, Field/store leaders, and various other stakeholders
  • Developing a project plan outlining key labor activities, milestones, deliverables, responsible parties, and dependencies to ensure positive colleague experience across PCW
  • Partnering with various stakeholders (HR, Labor Relations, Field & Business Operation, Colleague Relations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Communications) to perform/obtain in-depth climate assessments covering a range of areas impacting our colleagues
  • Establishing a tracking mechanism for proactive issue identification and remediation in critical and unionized markets
  • Partnering with Center of Excellence leads (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Operations, etc.) and local operational partners on key initiatives that will drive enhancements to our workplace
  • Working in a collaborative “One Team” fashion with Labor Relations to ensure labor objectives are met and provide additional support as needed
  • Developing the cadence and materials needed to keep executive leaders and key stakeholders informed on progress, ensuring identified issues are being addressed in a timely manner and sustainable solutions are in in place

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources, operations, or general business administration. 
  • 3+ years of Project Management: Ability to create and roll-out long- and short-term plans, with clear milestones and targets. Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel, including air travel: up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Analytical: Comfortable utilizing data to assess market conditions and progress against
  • Organizational Savvy and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build constructive and effective relationships and use them to maneuver through complex situations
  • Strategic mindset: Sees ahead clearly and can anticipate future consequences and trends; can articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods
  • Executive Presence and Communication: Ability to craft and deliver communications and presentations to keep leadership informed of progress 
  • Proficient in MS Office: strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Professional work experience tied to Retail Operations, labor relations and or employee relations 
  • Ability to lead multiple high-visibility projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adjust to competing demands and changing priorities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related discipline required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
