Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager will lead typically large IT projects covering multiple site locations, working closely with Parent Company project managers, business analysts, architects, development and infrastructure teams to deliver project objectives on budget and within agreed timelines. Analyze and evaluate existing/new systems and software applications as a study leader, and document propositions in alignment with business requirements while respecting MIS policies, architectural principles and best practices
Principal Duties:
Lead typically large IT projects. Coordinate with project managers/Parent Company IT project managers
Directly manage all aspects of project lifecycle in compliance with MIS policies and procedures
Accountable for full life cycle project management, including preliminary studies, project initiation and planning, execution, testing, implementation and closeout
Plan, program and recommend resource allocation to support mission and associated objectives
Develop project schedules/recommend appropriate lead-lag times
Plan workload for multiple project management teams and de-conflict resources
Provide forward-looking schedule analysis to leadership
Accurately evaluate project schedule progress, identify developing problem areas and propose solutions
Conduct regular project management status meetings to apprise stakeholders of project progress, issues and risks
Define/track project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on overall integrated delivery plan
Develop required project artifacts such as project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, etc. depending on methodology (Waterfall, Hybrid or Agile)
Publish periodic project status reports
For projects managed using Hybrid or Agile methodologies, conduct regular, periodic, Agile meetings and ceremonies; project Increment Planning Sessions; Sprint Planning and Scrum meetings; and Retrospectives
Oversee translation of business requirements to technical specifications to ensure traceability
Propose/document solutions in alignment with functional requirements while respecting MIS policies and procedures, architectural principles and best practices
Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with technical experts and developers, provide appropriate solutions
Structure/prioritize business requirements and communicate plans to MIS and business stakeholders for review and approval
Able to handle multiple projects at one time

Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
Minimum four (4) years of experience leading large IT projects
Minimum ten (10) years of experience analyzing, designing and documenting software solutions and systems
Minimum four (4) years of experience effectively using project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira/Confluence, Codebeamer, Clarizen, PlanView, etc.)
Able to produce compelling and high quality presentations, designs, and clear documentation via PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
Deep understanding of systems analysis, design principles and methods including data structures design and data management
Able to understand complex IT concepts and convey concepts in an easily understandable way to non-technical business personnel
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Strong problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong teamwork, flexibility and adaptability
Additional Desired Qualifications:
PMP Certification
ITIL Certification
Safe Agile Certification
Experience working with design tools (Enterprise Architect, Bizagi Modeler)
Experience managing content on a SharePoint site
Working Conditions:
Office environment. Able to work at desk/computer for significant portion of the day
Must be able to work effectively with other department users with varied experience levels
Must be available/willing to work non-business hours, weekends and holidays as required
Travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $103,774.00 and $ $138,500.00 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
