Junior Data Analyst

(1 year fixed term contract with potential extension)

for our global team in Budapest

The role:

The Junior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the audit and control of all regional transactions which update data into HR Connect. The incumbent will help to support and execute against an escalation process related to HR Compliance and Audit and support investigation and resolution of all issues, including collaboration with various team members to close issues in a timely manner. Supports the proactive updating of key stakeholders around impactful changes to regulations and laws to ensure awareness, alignment and successful implementation of any required changes. Partners with team members and other internal resources to support audits of processes and data structures and values.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality and integrity of HR master data.
  • Understand business processes in order to interpret business requirements and develop audit and quality control solution details in layperson terms.
  • Responsible for supporting the HR data quality measurement process and data issue resolution process across the UK and EMEA regions.
  • Develop and disseminate ad hoc and routine action oriented audit and quality control reports that are understandable to end users.
  • Contribute to and drive process improvements for the audit and quality control function and across HR Service Delivery.
  • Maintain strong technical skills in utilizing the HR/Payroll System and related reporting, dashboard, and scorecard tools and solutions for measurement of audit and quality control and resolution of issues.
  • Develop, analyze and assess results of data quality audit reports to identify data issues for cleansing and escalation.
  • Provide support for special projects and tasks as needed, most often relating to employee requirements and records.
  • Partners with team members and other cross functional internal resources, including HR, IT, Payroll, Legal, Finance and others to conduct audits and resolve underlying issues.
  • Support the UK and EMEA Information Delivery team as needed during periods of high demand.
  • Responsible to provide regional representation and actively participate in HR Operations strategic and special projects, including, but not limited to, annual merit and bonus loads to HR Connect and payroll systems, acquisition and divestiture integrations and separations, fiscal and calendar year end special processing and data updates, data standardization and cleansing, reorganizations and restructuring activities, technology upgrades, migrations and patching, enhancement request process improvements, and new data integrations to ELC systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience, including internships in a related field.
  • Ability to identify patterns and variations in data/analysis.
  • Strong analytical, research, & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deal w/ambiguity & formulate root cause analyses.
  • Understanding and interpretation of regulatory environment and policies/controls.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to multi-task, and keep thorough records.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain good working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, and able to pivot quickly while bringing assignments to completion.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create and edit documents and presentations.
  • Experience with Excel specifically with pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP’s, graphs, etc.
