What this opportunity involves:

JLL is seeking an experienced Building Operations Manager for our prestigious 333 Collins Street property in Melbourne's CBD.

As Building Operations Manager, you'll represent JLL and property owners to tenants while maintaining the highest standards of building operations, safety compliance, and tenant satisfaction.

An overview of the role:

  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through regular communication
  • Improve building performance focusing on presentation, equipment operation, safety management and compliance
  • Ensure all Essential Safety Measures requirements are met
  • Coordinate contractors and monitor their performance and compliance
  • Provide technical expertise to Property Manager and Owners
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies when required
  • Monitor environmental sustainability performance and maintain NABERS certification records
  • Conduct regular building inspections and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Manage operational issues, repairs and maintenance within agreed expenditure limits
  • Maintain site documentation and records on JLL platforms

  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical services (HVAC, BAS, Fire safety, electrical systems)
  • Property industry experience in Building Services and Facilities Management
  • Thorough understanding of compliance and risk management requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage contractors effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex issues
  • Goal-oriented with focus on meeting performance targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with sound computer skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Facility Management or related field (desirable)
