Senior Product Manager – Marketing Technology 

The Senior Product Manager – MarTech is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs and delivering key features, functionality, and programs for Nordstrom. Our mission is to empower marketers with the tools and insights they need to drive meaningful results and optimize their strategies effectively. 

Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing technology trends, a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market, and a passion for driving innovation in the MarTech space. This role must be able to work at the strategic level to drive ideas for growth, and at the tactical level analyzing data and solving problems. 

A day in the life… 

  • Solid practitioner of the following competencies, requiring some day-to-day management support: 
  • Define, measure, and monitor key KPI’s for product specific features 
  • Drive root cause analysis on KPI performance 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on MarTech trends, technologies, and best practices, both internally and externally 
  • Evaluate competitor experiences 
  • Prioritize feature opportunities and develop annual backlog 
  • Partner with UX, Research, and Engineering on feature design 
  • Work with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintained 
  • Develop a/b testing plan with analytics where appropriate 

You own this if you have… 

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience of product management experience required, technology or ecommerce company preferred 
  • Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related quantitative discipline is Required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Deep understanding of marketing technology landscape, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and personalization tools 
  • Knowledge and experience using Salesforce, Treasure Data, Google Suite of Tools, & Impact Radius and other leading MarTech Saas tools 
  • Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities 
  • Technical background and understanding of software development principles, including a/b testing 
  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User Experience and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $120,500 - $220,500 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
