Job Summary: As a Data Visualization Specialist within our team, you will design and implement cutting-edge data visualization solutions that align with strategic objectives. You will analyze business needs to propose automated reporting solutions, reducing costs and minimizing risks while adhering to controls. Your role involves overseeing design and development, ensuring quality control before implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data visualization solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools.
  • Analyze business needs and propose automated reporting solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct business process reviews and develop automated solutions.
  • Generate regular and special reports, providing actionable insights.
  • Validate data accuracy and assist in report preparation.
  • Communicate analysis results through reports and presentations.
  • Develop knowledge of business processes and become a subject matter expert.
  • Maintain business process tools and ensure compliance with changing requirements.
  • Recommend improvements in visualization methods to boost productivity.
  • Support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, BI solutions development, and reporting.
  • Be proficient in Tableau, Power BI, and other BI tools like QlikView and Cognos.
  • Command SQL and experience with RDBMS systems like Snowflake and Oracle.
  • Utilize data transformation tools and languages such as Alteryx and Python.
  • Communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, sharing best practices.
  • Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in financial services, particularly in control management or audit.
  • Familiarity with big data transformation tools and languages.
  • Knowledge of Chase Control Management systems and consumer banking data.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Understand version control tools and processes like Git Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrate advanced PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in quality assurance, program management, or compliance in financial services.
