Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems presents an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Principal Systems Administrator – C2BMC Global Ops Lead, Level 2 (25-287), to join our team of qualified and diverse professionals. This role, based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, is vital in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications program (C2BMC) serves as the central component of the Missile Defense System. It is a critical operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor the progress of battles, and dynamically manage networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that offers an optimized response to threats of all ranges during each phase of flight. It acts as a force enhancer by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems worldwide, thereby boosting performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a key component of all ground and flight tests, which verify and evaluate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system.
At C2BMC, our teams focus on developing and delivering innovative solutions that address our customers' most complex challenges, including cyber-resilient mission systems, within an Agile work environment. This leadership role is based on Schriever SFB (Task Order 60 and Task Order 03) and reports to the Level II Lead. It may be necessary to serve as Deputy for the overall OM&S. This position will serve as the Level II Systems Lead for HTS and act as a liaison between operations and multiple teams, including integration, development, and fielding. It will report to the C2BMC-Global Lead and will be required to attend leadership meetings, deliver high-level briefs, and assume team lead responsibilities. Additional Northrop Grumman Information:
Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
