Texas Capital Bank is seeking a creative and strategic User Experience (UX) Designer to craft intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across our platforms. This role will transform complex business requirements into elegant design solutions that enhance the customer journey and drive digital innovation. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for the user, a skilled communicator, and a collaborative partner across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform cross-functional business requirements and objectives into engaging, simple, and intuitive design solutions that solve complex design problems and evolve the customer experience
  • Conceptualize and design the features and functions for Texas Capital Bank’s digital platforms
  • Produce journey maps, wireframes, and design systems to create low to high fidelity prototypes for a range of platforms including internal applications, corporate websites, landing pages, digital onboarding, and online banking portals
  • Convey ideas, solutions and recommendations using a range of communication and storytelling techniques to inspire and align audiences on vision and direction
  • Workshop product definition by shepherding stakeholders and partners through discovery sessions to uncover pain points and opportunities
  • Collaborate with product owners and platform delivery teams to manage design delivery of the consumer digital experience
  • Be the evangelist for the customer; advocating on their behalf for user-centered design practices throughout the product lifecycle to advance usability and utility of our digital products
  • Educate internal partners on current digital technologies, UX trends, and changing customer expectations of digital experiences inside and outside industry.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • Proficiency with standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodologies, experience with working with an iteration-based development process.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (e.g., websites, web applications, mobile apps, etc.) with an understanding of how designs translate to code
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to adapt design best practices to digital experiences across web and mobile
  • Financial services industry experience preferred, but not essential
