We’re looking for Product Designer I to join the Developer Division Design Studio and help us create the best possible user experience for developers utilizing our AI and Agentic tools. As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with other designers, content strategists, researchers, product managers, and engineers to envision, improve, and expand some of the fastest growing products at Microsoft.
In this role you will work on complex problems for sophisticated customers who care deeply about both productivity and ease-of-use. We’re looking for a designer who’s driven by empathy for customers, and the need to know how to serve them better. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver the next generation of experiences to empower developers. Our ideal candidate has experience in the full life cycle of digital design, from envisioning to concepting to prototyping to execution. Candidates should also have a basic understanding of software technologies and familiarity with programming.

Product Design IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
