About the Role: 

The Technical Project Lead plays a critical role in our TechOps team, responsible for steering complex technical projects from inception to completion. In this position, you’ll be a key player as we design, procure, and install IT, networking, and AV systems in newly launching coworking locations, as well as upgrading existing technical infrastructure across our network. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and project management acumen, ensuring projects meet quality standards and deadlines, and stay within budget. 

The ideal candidate will live in NYC, Boston, or Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of TechOps project tasks and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain project boards for all internal and external stakeholders & adjust as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders as the TechOps project lead for Tech Ops inquiries & FAQ.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders at regular intervals.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with project goals.
  • Provide guidance and best practices mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment conducive to achieving high-quality results.

Technical Oversight:

  • Oversee technical aspects of the various projects to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Lead the analysis of project feasibility, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks.

Technical Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing network services for an organization with 25+ large-scale locations, preferably in the real estate, hospitality, or property management industries.
  • Prior experience & strong working knowledge of networking technology, circuit procurement, and network hardware
  • Ability to quickly identify industry standard IT hardware components and troubleshoot functional issues in a standard IT closet
  • Proficiency in technical project management tools and methodologies (like ITIL, AirTable or similar).
  • Knowledge of current network technologies and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $85,000 - $100,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.

You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.
