Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Job Purpose/Role

This role will steer performance of several OEs and drive business initiatives in the region. Furthermore,the support of the Planning and Strategic Dialogue preparation across all functions regionally is an important part of the role.

You will join a dynamic and international controlling team with highly motivated and collaborative colleagues, embedded in a diverse regional community and will able to build and leverage relationships and gain a deep understanding of the business in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and drive performance of the region / OEs based on data and analytics
  • Monitor and challenge performance of several OEs in the region.
  • Prepare and present regular financial report to regional management
  • Provide comments during closing process to H2/H7 BD at Allianz SE
  • Leverage Power BI for analytics and further develop its capabilities
  • Become a sparring partner of the OE in terms of financials and business initiatives
  • Support the regional CFO in conducting deep dives and independently drive relevant topics
  • Take initiative on cross functional initiatives to maximise the impact on the P&L
  • Contribute to the different processes in the area of products, investmentsand capital optimization

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Relevant professional experience
  • Master in Economics, Finance or business related field
  • Fluency in English. Business fluency in German and/or other languages in the CEE region is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.
  • Good ability to work autonomously within pre-defined parameters.
  • Strong team player and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and cultures.

The minimum salary for this position is €80.000 gross annual salary for full-time work, depending on qualifications/education. The position will be in Vienna, however home office possibility is provided.
