Job Title: Technical Product Manager
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Sr Technical Product Manager with a focus on Cyber Security to lead projects related to vehicle security ecosystems. In this role, you will define architecture, write technical requirements, and develop roadmaps. You will also communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional teams to consolidate detailed requirements and architecture specifications for next-generation vehicle and infrastructure security solutions.
- Define success criteria and priorities for project/product benefits and create executable roadmaps.
- Author security-related RFPs, RFQs, and SoWs for in-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure secure communications, secure ECU software/firmware updates, penetration testing, threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA), fleet data protection and privacy, and evaluate suppliers.
- Ensure complete requirements and architecture traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with Verification and Development engineers to establish product excellence, working with both internal and external teams, including suppliers and partners.
- Optimize software through design reviews and code reviews.
- Collaborate with teams including External Suppliers, Vehicle Controls, Chassis, Safety, Battery, Infotainment, and UX to achieve overall project objectives on time and within budget.
- Approach challenges laterally across systems and domains, and vertically drill down to reconcile gaps and contradictions.
- Follow through diligently to resolve issues.
- Regularly communicate vision, features, priorities, deliverables, and goals to stakeholders through program documentation, launch announcements, release notes, seminars, and user training.
- Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 6 years of industry experience in technical architect roles and technical product management in network, cloud, and information security, data privacy, and embedded security.
- Experience in threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) at both system and component levels.
- Experience in Scalable Public Key Infrastructure Deployments and management.
- Experience in addressing vulnerabilities in in-vehicle connectivity interfaces and protocols, e.g., CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, GNSS, mitigation mechanisms, and security enforcement.
- Experience in writing Level 1 to Level 3 requirements.
- Proficiency in using requirement management systems like JAMA, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- MS/BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with emerging security standards/frameworks, including ISO/SAE, UNCE WP.29 cybersecurity, and cybersecurity management systems regulations for connected vehicles.
- Experience in Vehicle Fleet Security Operations (vSOC) and AI/ML.
- Prior experience working in automobile companies and understanding of vehicle architecture and communication is a plus.
Work Environment
This role operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, involving collaboration across multiple teams and external partners. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of technical judgment. Dress code and specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
