Oracle Project Portfolio Management – Functional – Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) senior consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle PPM modules, strong functional expertise, and a proven track record of delivering successful implementations and support in a consulting environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of Oracle PPM, and excellent consulting and communication skills. This role requires a proven record of successfully delivering Oracle PPM implementations and providing ongoing support to clients, possess functional knowhow, and client-facing roles, leveraging the latest AI-driven features.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage and support all aspects of Oracle Fusion PPM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Should be able to interpret functional requirements and able to deliver and design it from onsite and offshore. If required ready to travel to onsite
  • Interpret and map functional/client requirements against standard Oracle Cloud PPM processes.
  • Provide functional expertise in at least three key PPM modules like Project control, Costing, Billing, Contracts, Project Management & Resource Management
  • Help in design module-specific and end-to-end process solutions in the context of integrated PPM applications and deliver and design solutions from offshore/ready to travel onsite if required.
  • Conduct workshops and client interviews to gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation using AIM / OUM / TCM / Agile or other prescribed methodologies, including functional specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Drive and assist in business users during CRPs/SITs/UATs/KUTs and Prepare test scripts and test cases & conduct trainings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle PPM, providing timely and effective support to clients.
  • Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met and act as the primary functional consultant for stakeholder alignment
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle PPM features, functionalities, and industry best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Participate in proposal development and client presentations.
  • Guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment

Experience:

  • Experience in Oracle PPM functions/modules.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience working with Oracle PPM product suite (EBS and Fusion) with relevant experience in all functional modules.
  • Should have worked in at least 2 full life cycle implementations in Oracle Cloud PPM in Fusion and EBS R12
  • Experience in Oracle PPM Modules (Project control, Costing, Billing, Contracts, Project Management & Resource Management
  • Experience with global, multi-entity organizations, inter-company transactions, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Experience in project management skills, with experience leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Experience in any of the major industry sectors like Retail, Government, Energy, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities and Finance & Banking
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or other relevant tools

  • Willing to work in MENA Shift timings (Sunday to Thursday).
  • Client site work / Business Traveling involved.

Education:

  • Should be a graduate along with the accounting degree such as MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or ACCA from any reputed educational institution.
