Your new role

As our new Student Assistant, you will support the integration of sustainability considerations in Ramboll’s projects and business operations. You will be part of Ramboll Group's Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility department in Copenhagen.

You will join a vibrant and supportive team that values diversity and collaboration. Our department is on an ambitious journey to enable Ramboll’s strategy ‘The Partner for Sustainable Change’. You will have the opportunity to contribute to sustainability action programmes, due diligence processes, and enterprise risk management, all while working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the sustainability due diligence roll-out and integration in enterprise risk management and commercial opportunities identification.
  • Support the maturing and continuous improvement of the double materiality assessment and climate risk assessment work with focus on financial materiality assessment.
  • Identify and assist the implementation of digitalization solutions for increased efficiency in data management across various sustainability assessments.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks for the day-to-day operations of the function. Your tasks and responsibilities might change as we get to know you, your capabilities, and aspirations.

About you

  • Enrolled in a Master’s degree, in a business school or university studying business administration ideally in combination with sustainability courses.
  • Experience with sustainability either through university courses, personal activities, or previous work experience. Knowledge of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human rights and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in the convergence of sustainability impacts and financial risks for companies.
  • Experience with corporate finance (Profit & Loss, Balance sheet, etc) and/or corporate strategy through university courses or previous work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating clear and well-structured presentations.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data and financial models.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (Danish skills not required).
  • Availability to work an average of 9-12 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate exam periods.
