Activities:

  • EHS Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of EHS initiatives aligned with global and local business goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks through effective site understanding and action planning. Including onsite risks like radiation safety plans.
  • Policy & System Implementation: Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Safety Operations: Oversee equipment, hazardous waste management, inspections, and support commercial and operations related safety efforts.
  • Training & Collaboration: Deliver EHS training and work cross-functionally to foster a culture of safety and engagement.
  • Auditing & Incident Management: Lead safety audits and investigate incidents to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Reporting & Communication: Present EHS data, trends, and recommendations to local and global leadership with clarity and impact.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Recognized EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent) is a strong asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role, with a focus on commercial or multi-site environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing EHS systems in compliance with local and EU regulations.
  • Experience working within a global organization or matrix environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of French and EU EHS laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with radiation safety and hazardous waste management is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in conducting audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Proficient in EHS management systems and data reporting tools (e.g., Enablon, Gensuite, etc.).

Travel Percentage: 20%
