About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the EMEA CIB Product & Strategic Delivery Team. This team is pivotal in driving transformations within CIB Wholesale Operations. The role involves supporting Operations in implementing both technical and non-technical enhancements. The Business Analyst will collaborate with the Project Management division in P&SD, as well as various departments including Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Legal, to ensure comprehensive integration of changes throughout the business change lifecycle. Experience in leading Regulatory Reporting Projects is advantageous, along with recognized qualifications in Business Analysis and Investment Operations, like the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC). In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for Situation Investigation and Problem Analyses, Feasibility Assessments, Business Case Development, Process and Service Improvement, Business Acceptance Testing, Business Change Deployment and Requirements Definition.
  • Handle stakeholder management and analysis.
  • Execute engineering requirements.
  • Be responsible for data modelling and data gap analysis.
  • Execute Idea generation and visualising.
  • Be responsible for project management.
  • Manage user story and acceptance create generation.
  • Execute document test scenarios and create tests packs.
  • Run discovery, elicitation and design workshops with stakeholders at varying levels to ensure problem statements are fully understood, that requirements are holistic and that they are documented to the highest standards).
  • Build relationships and influence Internal and external stakeholders to help navigate Wells Fargo move towards the it future state in line with the firm strategy and business objectives.
  • Fully utilise confluence and Jira to document all key artefacts produced during a project and run appropriate meetings to validate the artefacts produced prior to signoff.
  • Facilitate and run design workshops with impacted stakeholders and technology partners,
  • Identify, analyse and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating as necessary and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines.
  • Ensure that project delivery is carried out according to the defined scope.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Maintain up to date working knowledge of the industry and ensure that the organization’s interests are considered.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Be familiar with both the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the broader Business Change Life Cycle (BCLC).
  • Possess a proven ability to work in creating efficient and effective processes and controls with a goal to minimize systemic and systematic risks.
  • Experience working within financial services specialising in Capital Markets.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Resilient, organised with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent documentation skills ensuring traceability of design and delivery back to requirements.
  • Experience documenting testing strategies, coordinating testing efforts across multiple platforms and business functions, capturing and documenting UAT results, creation of test scripts and managing and communicating progress.
  • Ability to interface between the business and technology teams, work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders in IT, Operations, the Business, Legal and Compliance.
  • Ability to identify the root cause of problems and propose solutions resulting in clear options and recommendations that can be considered to address the issues identified.
  • Experience working within both waterfall and agile methods of project delivery.
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and make specific recommendations.
  • Aptitude to structure multiple tasks and work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple distinct work streams simultaneously.
  • An understanding of current and futures Transaction Reporting Regulations within EMEA.
  • Fluent in the following applications: Microsoft Excel, Agile Enterprise Jira, and Confluence.
  • Applicants with industry qualifications in business Analysis, Investment operations and wide product and trade lifecycle Knowledge will be considered preferable for this role.
