Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of UX program management experience in design, UX, or product organizations.
  • Experience with UX disciplines and user centered development tools and methodologies.
  • Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to develop solutions.
  • Experience boosting the velocity/productivity of teams, products, and systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading across geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience with the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience in program management within a Design or UX organization.
  • Experience in design or product management.
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and issues.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with User Experience (UX) leadership to define and deliver upon priorities, authoring and driving progress based on a clear brief, plan, and schedule.
  • Operate with a bias for action, proactively identifying issues and owning solutions that sustainably resolve them and improves design quality and productivity.
  • Drive effective decision-making and progress (including, but not limited to: requirements gathering, planning, resource allocation, and launch approvals).
  • Drive cultural and behavioral changes to ensure the UX team is positioned to create excellent, high impact user experiences at scale.
  • Partner with Technical Program Managers and cross-functional partners to deliver work that builds trust across Engineering and Product Manager teams, across teams within UX, and connects all functions, ensuring interdependencies are understood and planned for.
