The Opportunity: Knowledgeable in setup and operate machine (flexo folder gluer, rotary die cutter). Operator is responsible in productivity, quality and waste. Communicate effectively and in a professional manner verbally and in writing. Strong motivated, good judgment, sense of urgency and team oriented. A team leader for crew in training processes. Follow all processes and procedures in place-along with safety rules and regulations.

• Pay Rate: $17-18 DOE
• Schedule: M-F 9am-1pm

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions, a Smurfit WestRock company:

• How to set up, operate and monitor machine
• Mount printing and cutting dies to cylinder/shaft
• Mix and adjust ink viscosity
• Responsible for machine output, quality and waste
• Performing quality checks for each order
• Verification of material based on customer requirements prior to running
• Responsible for crew as a team to meet daily goals
• Adhere to production schedule
• Accurately record production data to computer daily
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping
• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting machine

What you need to succeed:

• Two or more years’ experience as machine operator
• Packaging or printing experience in Flexo folder gluer, rotary die cutter General fluency in English required, verbal and written
• Computer skills required
• Ability to read tape measure Additional Functions/Job Duties:
