WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Digital Manager, you will be involved in working with some of our largest global automative partners, helping to define and deliver digital solutions that support our joint commercial goals. You’ll work alongside Global Account Management teams to build strong relationships with our partners to understand their business strategies, plans and objectives, and work specifically with digital and tech counterparts to understand their requirements, propose innovative solutions and then collaborate with project and technology teams across different business units and geographies to successfully deliver these initiatives.
For already established and operational digital capabilities you’ll seek to understand how they are performing and contributing to commercial goals. You’ll be working with data and have regular dialogue with analytics and business intelligence specialists to obtain the necessary metrics and insights that can help to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and new product development. You’ll then work with the necessary stakeholders to propose the necessary actions to achieve these.
We need someone like you to help us on different fronts:
- To help build and maintain fantastic working relationships and collaborative partnerships with our most important global auto partners, with specific accountability for the relationship with Digital counterparts within some of our biggest global partners.
- To have a good appreciation of how digital capabilities can help to achieve our partners’ and our own Commercial goals.
- To have a strong ability to initiate and lead initiatives working with disparate stakeholders across different countries, business units, functions (e.g. business / tech / operations etc) both internally and within partner organisations.
- To have a strong customer orientation, both to strive for delivery of brilliant customer experiences for the end customer, but also for the services we deliver to our partners.
- To be a strong communicator with good ability to adapt communication to different stakeholder groups, including senior executives internally and within partner organisations.
EXPERIENCE
- Overall experience > 10 years, occupying senior roles either within or with significant exposure to automotive / finance / digital sectors (the ideal candidate will have relevant experience in all three sectors)
- Proven ability to lead the delivery of complex initiatives involving disparate stakeholder groups, preferably across different geographies and cultures
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships and to foster strong collaborative working partnerships
- Experience working with technology-based projects. Must be comfortable with technology and to act as liaison and translator between business and tech stakeholders. Should have proven ability to articulate business requirements and work with solution providers to ensure effective definition and delivery of digital projects.
- Proven experience delivering best in class CX solutions and obsession around customer.
- Experience communicating with Senior stakeholders, including Executive Management and presenting to large groups.
EDUCATION
- University Degree
- Relevant professional / post graduate qualifications
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Communication – must possess first class written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate to both internal and external stakeholders, including with Senior Execs. Ability to present to larger groups and be comfortable to speak at events.
- Customer orientation – ability of operate with professionalism and credibility in front of the customer, with proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Planning and co-ordination – ability to co-ordinate and manage multiple initiatives, delivering coherent plans that reflect priorities and regularly assessing progress against these.
- Teamwork – must be an excellent team player, able to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and business partners, with specific focus on being able to work with multicultural and international teams located in several countries.
- Self-starter – ability to work largely unsupervised but making appropriate escalations when required.
- Influencing & negotiation skills - Must be able to engage with internal and external stakeholders in order to reach mutually beneficial business outcomes.
- Languages - fluent level of English language is mandatory to undertake this role. Additional euro languages Spanish, German, French, Italian, etc. are considered a bonus but not critical.
OTHER INFORMATION
- International travel will be required from time to time, mostly within the Eurozone.
