Job Description

  • Work in international Engineering teams and define products and processes in order to produce it with low failures and cost optimized machine/line concepts.
  • Responsible for process development of product elements together with development
  • Responsible to define and industrialise standard assembly processes such as Laser Welding, Laser Finishing and other laser related processes
  • Conduct deep technical cause and effect relationships concerning laser related subjects
  • Establish and coordinate the standardization of working procedures across the international production network and promote lessons learn share between the different laser processes
  • Coordinate with purchasing department and conduct market studies to select new laser application technologies and implement them in Bosch production environment
  • Formulate machine requirement specifications
  • Define process guidelines applicable for the complete international production network
  • Enhance process continuous improvement activities
  • Analyse process data (KPI) with statistical tools and derive conclusions and actions accordingly

Qualifications

  • MSc. In Physics (with more than 5 years’ experience)
  • Experience with Laser systems & optical systems and its applicability in industrial environment conditions
  • Experience using statistical analysis methods and softwares (eg: minitab)
  • Strong know how on problem solving tools (eg: 6 sigma DMAIC and Shainin)
  • Analytical mindset with focus on big data handling
  • Capacity to communicate openly, frequently and across all levels
  • Able to work autonomously and remove any obstacles
  • Experience creating and presenting technical documentations
  • Results and future orientation
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Availability to travel
  • Very good spoken and written English (min. B2)
