GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
To set up, operate or program various types of machines for production of piece parts for shelters to achieve quality and integrity of products at the lowest possible cost.

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in CNC programming in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM).
Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
Experience with Haas, Fadal, Anderson, Onsrud.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Effective communication and teamwork skills
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Shop Floor environment / shared workbench or workstation.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools).
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors – large fans).
Ability to work safely in the presence of hazardous chemicals and hazardous conditions.
Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
