Your role

The Site Engineer core responsibility is to perform infrastructure related activities in our Data Centres to ensure a reliable and efficient operation of the technical infrastructure. This is achieved through maintenance, testing and surveillance of all assets installed.

The Site Engineer is responsible for the planning and control of all day-to-day maintenance activities in cooperation with the Lead Engineer and provide leadership to the site teams, including project management for maintenance related activities

  • Lead in upholding company safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair activities, including coordination with subcontractors.
  • Manage on-call duties and incident resolution as needed.
  • Document and analyze progress, issues, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to site engineers, fostering their professional development, and contributing to team development and recruitment efforts.
  • Demonstrate mastery across a wide range of essential technical skills, including complex troubleshooting and project management.
  • Possess in-depth expertise in the specialized technical field relevant to the position

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of experience in ‘Mission critical’ operations and maintenance of large scale
  • electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems
  • Technical education / training certification in the field of ‘Mission Critical’ Operations.
  • Skilled in maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems
  • HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical
