Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP to join our Business Design and Solutions team within LPL’s Customer Success team. As an assisting partner of Business, Technology, and Product orgs, you will support strategy, solution ideation, and contribute to the deep and thoughtful analysis which enables our leadership team to make informed decisions regarding CRM. You will work closely with our VP of Business Transformation and our CRM Product Teams.

The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of strong analytical skills, a consulting mindset, CRM processes- and software knowledge, as well as experience in the financial services industry.

This team within Business Strategy and Growth focuses on capabilities which span business lines, product families, and business operations, which enable advisor journeys with a focus on optimization of the new client relationship, onboarding and ongoing client maintenance. You will have the opportunity to work on the firm's highest priority initiatives to provide leadership with timely, accurate, and insightful commentary and recommendations. You will gain a full understanding of, and the ability to explain, all business aspects of our products/platforms while working with numerous business units across the firm. This role will embrace strategic, entrepreneurial, analytical, product, and project management skillsets to support our growth and positioning across the entire wealth management market as LPL continues to expand.

This role will help with the execution of our unified CRM strategy, focused on internal and external CRM. This critical evolution enables our advisors to build a more client-centric practice and enables streamlined operations for advisors and their clients, while facilitating speed-to-action for everyday activities, allowing advisors to spend more time with their clients, and less time on administrative tasks. In addition, these capabilities will empower cleaner and more efficient reporting, increased insights into client relationships, portfolios, and products as well as enable refine the way LPL creates relationship level views.

Responsibilities:

What will you do as the AVP, Business Design & Solutioning, Business Transformation and CRM?

  • Collaborate on internal workstreams to support strategy and decision-making specific to the CRM
  • Partner with teams focused on CRM capabilities, Account Lifecycle Management, Data Transformation, and Operational Enablement, ensuring cohesive planning while maintaining focus on our cross functional outcomes and journeys.
  • Engage with Business subject matter experts within Legal, Compliance, and Investment products to sus-out critical business requirements and outcomes, supporting the Product teams in the development of clear acceptance criteria and backlogs which will enable a cohesive solution set.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to support our strategy and outcomes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, technology, and operations, to assist in executing on partnership objectives and goals
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments and incorporate this knowledge into the analytical findings around design and solutioning.

Requirements:

What skills, experiences, and education are advantageous?

  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with large financial services institutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with client or account sales journeys within financial services, with specific knowledge relating to CRM tools, digital experiences, client relations and sales efficiency.
  • Highly skilled in PowerPoint, process mapping tools such as Miro/Mural/Lucid or equivalent. Experience in data visualization is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5 years' product management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or project management preferably within a financial service or related FinTech firm.
  • Ability to effectively work on multiple initiatives/projects at one time, work within a team, show strong attention to detail, communicate clearly and concisely, work comfortably with incomplete information, and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven individual with high level of motivation, positive attitude, commitment to excellence and integrity, and hunger to contribute to a growing team in a start-up-like atmosphere
  • Robust analytical skills with an ability to identify relevant data, strong data visualization skills that translates into strong presentation building displaying findings in a clear and actionable manner
  • Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • The preferred candidate will be local to an LPL corporate office, preferably Fort Mill, SC.

Pay Range:

$109,388-$182,313/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
