The IRC's Global Supply Chain Team aims to achieve excellence in Supply Chain management by providing accurate and timely information to IRC management and programs, and by adhering to established practices and principles. We accomplish this through supporting, providing oversight, and training Supply Chain staff in field offices; implementing and monitoring IRC and donor policies and procedures; leading the adoption and deployment of the Integra system; promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing; and ensuring reliable reporting (internal and external). Our focus lies in fostering strong collaboration between program offices, regional offices, subsidiaries, and affiliates to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness in Supply Chain operations.

Job Overview: 

The Global Supply Chain Systems Advisor role is integral to the IRC's efforts to optimize its supply chain and operational efficiency through the effective adoption and use of (Integra) Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other GSC systems as needed. Positioned within the Global Supply Chain Team, this role is focused on facilitating the comprehensive adoption of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other GSC Systems across IRC's global operations. The advisor is responsible for ensuring that the supply chain systems are effectively utilized to meet the organization’s operational & data analytics for management information & decision-making needs and supporting the continuous improvement of supply chain processes”. The System Advisor collaborates closely with program offices, regional offices, subsidiaries, and affiliates to ensure a seamless integration of technology and processes, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the IRC's supply chain management.

Position reports to: Regional Supply Chain Director, MIP With the GSC Systems and Data Director 

Position directly supervises: NA.

Working Relations: Integra Project team, Global Supply Chain team, GSC Systems Advisors, country program Deputy Directors of Operations, Supply Chain Coordinators, Finance and Programs focal points, RAI Supply Chain Managers, Integra Delivery teams, Integra Technical team. 

Major Responsibilities: 

System Utilization and Support:

  • Provide guidance to users in the Country Programs and Offices on utilizing Integra supply chain functionalities effectively.
  • Monitor office performance using Power BI and Integra reports, identify gaps, support creation of action plans, and facilitate system utilization and adoption.
  • Actively monitor the cleanliness of the data in the system and work with the Master Data Management team, the App Support team and the technical team, to clean office system data.
  • Provide support to offices on inventory management processes, including dedicated support during the cycle and the end of year counts.
  • Work with the Regional Supply Chain Director and the office to monitor Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive action plans to improve SC processes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Be an active member of the regional delivery teams providing supply chain feedback and expertise where needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Programs, and the technical team to resolve office and regional Integra cross-functional issues.

System Enhancements and Feedback:

  • Actively collect feedback from offices to suggest system enhancements and improvements and raise system enhancement tickets as needed.
  • Report bugs and other system anomalies observed by users on ServiceNow and follow up on the resolutions and communication to the offices. 
  • Test system enhancements and upgrades as needed by conducting testing scenarios covering all SC aspects and reporting on the results.
  • Support change-management, communication, and training system enhancements. 

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Supply Chain function, including supporting new office deployments as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience within NGO/Corporate Supply Chain environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
  • Willingness to travel to global IRC locations up to 25% of the time.
  • Supply Chain certification (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, or CSCMP) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Additional knowledge of IRC standard languages, such as French, Arabic, or Spanish is a plus. 

Proven coaching and training, project management, process mapping, and process documentation skills.
