This position will head the strategic identification and implementation of intelligent automation (IA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven solutions across Wholesale Operations, including Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), and Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). This role requires a forward-thinking leader with experience in intelligent automation and a strong understanding of artificial intelligence technologies.

This individual will be responsible for surfacing and prioritizing high value use cases, determining optimal delivery paths, and ensuring successful integration of AI capabilities into operational workflows. Additionally, the role includes regular engagement with executive leadership to communicate progress, outcomes, and strategic alignment, driving measurable impact and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Support identification and implementation of intelligent automation (IA) and AI-driven solutions while ensuring continued savings through IA and AI initiatives
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in Operations; with focus in Corporate Investment Banking Operations, Commercial Banking Operations, and/or Wealth Investment Management Operations experience from a large financial institution
  • Diverse background in Operations, Project Management, Data Analysis, and/or Strategic Planning
  • Sound foundation in artificial Intelligence
  • Experience with Intelligent Automation tools and familiarity with process automation
  • Experience managing large scale transformational initiatives, including automation and platform modernization, across multiple lines of business
  • Scope and business case identification, Risk Analysis creation
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence decision making
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, critical thinking, and resourcefulness to identify and resolve problems and incidents
  • Ability to work effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a matrixed and dynamic team environment, across all organizational levels with flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability
  • Advanced organizational skills with high diligence and accuracy
  • Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders, and creating concise communications to senior leaders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
