J&J Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Operations Modeling Team Lead reporting to the MES Next Gen Lead and to be based in Geel (Belgium).
Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Geel serves as Centre of Excellence for the development and manufacturing of Synthetic APIs used in treatments that improve the health and lifestyle of people worldwide. The Operations Support team supports the Geel site in its mission as Launch & Grow site and is responsible for manufacturing systems support (MES, Delta V, PCS7, SAP,…).
As Modeling Team Lead, you are responsible for leading the team of modelers (4 internal & 4/6 external resources) on the Geel site.
Next to the role of Team Lead this role will also deliver MES business support (SME) and on call 24/7 support to the business.
The best candidate for this role has specific expertise in Manufacturing Execution & DCS Systems and has expertise in Chemical Manufacturing (Operations/Execution Systems/MSAT background). They have good communication skills and knowledge of Quality & Compliance guidelines (including GMP). You are eager to learn continuously and like to work with many colleagues and partners across other functional areas who are involved in the creation of Master Batch Records and Batch recipes. Making good relationships and aligning team members is something that gives you energy.
